RSR Ranked 5th

According to Central Penn Multi List statistics, RSR was the 5th ranking company in total sales volume for the year 2011. For the period 1/01/2011 to 12/31/2011 RSR participated in a total of 301 transactions, reaching a volume of just under 90 million ($89,988.234).

Senior Parner, Bill Rothman, said that $26,000,000 of this volume was as a result of commercial transactions. Of the top 25 companies in the CPML, RSR REALTORS had the highest average sales side of $298,964. This compares with the average for the entire Central Penn Multi List area of $177,938. RSR.s percentage of the total sales volume for the Greater Harisburg area stood at 3.77% at the end of 2011.

The Former Colonial Pines Assisted Living Facility has Sold

   The Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg purchased the former Colonial Pines assisted living facility at 120 Willow Avenue, Harrisburg by the Pope Family Limited Partnership.  Jim Koury, Andrew Lick and Jimmy Koury of RSR Realtors, LLC represented the buyer and Garrett Rothman of RSR Realtors, LLC represented the sellers. After completing their renovations this Spring, the Diocese will house several of Catholic Charities residential programs in the facility.

Office Building Sold

Peter Ballantine purchased an office building at 1323 N. Front Street, Harrisburg from Cook & Niven.  Garrett Rothman of RSR Realtors, LLC represented the buyer and Jason Sourbeer of NAI/CIR represented the sellers. 

American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society has recently signed a long term lease for a 5,000 Sq Ft office suite at 2 Lemoyne Drive, Lemoyne. they plan on occuping the space after landloard completes their renovations in early 2012.  Jim Koury, Curt Trogner, & Jimmy Koury represented the Cancer Society in this transaction.

The Meadows Original Frozen Custurd

The operators, the Gelbaugh Family, of The Meadows Original Frozen Custard has recently purchased the building they occupy at 4636 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg. They just completed a very successful initial season at this location. Jim Koury & Jimmy Koury of RSR represented the Gelbaughs in this transaction.

RSR Up 15% in Total Sales for 2011!

RSR REALTORS reports that 2011 was a very good year! With residential sales tallying over 55 million and commercial sales coming in at over 26 million, RSR enjoyed a15% increase in total sales volume over 2010. Residential volume, including new construction, saw an uptick of 8%, while our commercial division saw  a 33% increase over the previous year's sales volume. Our entire sales team participated in 431 transactions during the 2011 year.

635 Gettysburg Pike

 635 Associates, LLC. has purchased the 1.93 acre site including a ranch house at 635 Gettysburg Pike, from the sellers. 635 Associates, LLC. plans to construct a 6,800sf office and shop location for their tenant, Central Penn Plumbing and HVAC. Curt Trogner of RSR REALTORS handled this transaction.  

Greg Rothman Recently Honored after Second Term

Greg Rothman was recently honored after completing his second term as President of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

26-30 S. Market Street, Hamilton Health Center Inc, The Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg

Barb Koch has leased 2,800 square feet of retail space at 26-30 S. Market Street in Mechanicsburg from Sangrey Properties for the future site of a consignment furniture store.  Roy Brenner of Landmark Commercial Realty represented tenant.  Andrew Lick of RSR Realtors represented the landlord.

Hamilton Health Center Inc. has leased 1,500 square feet of office space at 3211 N. Front Street in Harrisburg from 3211 N. Front Associates LLC.  Hamilton Health is a non profit, community based health organization providing comprehensive primary health, dental, mental health and substance abuse counseling.  Jason Sourbeer and Nik Sgagias of NAI CIR represented the landlord.  Andrew Lick of RSR Realtors represented the tenant.

The Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg has purchased a 7,000 square foot church on two acres at 571 Valley Street in Summerdale from the Christian Missionary Alliance.   ReMax Realty Inc. represented the sellers.  Jim Koury and Andrew Lick of RSR Realtors represented the buyers.

Bill Rothman inducted into Harrisburg Realtor Hall-of-Fame

Bill Rothman, co-founder of Lemoyne's RSR REALTORS, was inducted into the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS Hall-of-fame at the group's holiday lunch at the West Shore Country Club December 9, 2011.

Rothman began his career in college and started RSR in 1970.  The company is the largest and oldest locally owned and managed real estate firm in the area with 2011 sales exceeding $115 million.
