Albin W. Simokat, Associate Broker, is an experienced commercial real estate professional having concluded major transactions involving land, industrial buildings, commercial sales/leasing, and office leasing. Al has been very active in the Harrisburg area civic affairs, having served as Chairman of the Industrial, Commercial and Investment Council of the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors, and Chairman of the Commercial Industrial Development Committee of the Greater West Shore Area Chamber of Commerce. Al has served as a member of the West Shore School Board and the board of the Salvation Army. He was a charter member of the Pennsylvania Society of Association Executives.

Al Simokat began his real estate career in February 1987 and obtained his Broker’s License in 1990. He was named RSR Realtor of the year in 2004.

Al Simokat sold commercial land sites of 85+ acres and 13+ acres in Fairview Township, York County, Pennsylvania resulting in his being named Realtor of the Year by the Fairview Township’s Board of  Supervisors. He sold 40+ acres in Silver Spring Township, which is currently the site of Hershey Foods Distribution Warehouse. He also purchased and developed, with partners, the site of 110,000 square feet BJ’s Wholesale Membership Club. Al represented Buckeye pipeline Company in their sale of 62 aces I Silver Spring Township to the Harrisburg Auto Auction. He has sold and leased properties throughout the Greater Harrisburg Area Al sold 120 acres in Silver Spring Township which now is the site of Harley Davidson and the proposed site of several auto dealerships.Al Simokat has recently specialized in selling large tracts for residential development. He has sold parcels from 60 acres to 320 acres.

Al Simokat is from Baltimore originally and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Baltimore. He has four sons and a daughter, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
